Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Reading content, opening a page, or submitting a search constitutes agreement to them. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the service.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website is not affiliated with a local, Texas, or federal government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify public criminal-record resources in San Jacinto County, Texas. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently of every public office. It does not store government criminal records, retrieve official files, perform official checks, or submit documents for users.

The content points toward San Jacinto County custodians, including the Sheriff's Office, County Clerk, District Clerk, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked service must not be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. Texas restricts misuse of Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data. Registry information supports lawful community awareness and does not authorize vigilantism, blacklisting, or discriminatory conduct.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, consumer reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners are not presented as services for FCRA-regulated screening. Data from this website or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A lawful regulated check must be obtained through the appropriate official process or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is not legal advice. General information about San Jacinto County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to one person. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for that advice.

6. No Warranties

All content is supplied "as is," without a guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges can be filed, changed, dismissed, restricted, or expunged, so records do not remain static. Gaps can occur despite efforts to keep information current. Only the originating public office can make an official statement about its record.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to public offices, court portals, state agencies, legal organizations, and outside search services. Their content, privacy practices, prices, availability, and terms are outside our control. Review the destination's conditions before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to San Jacinto County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the website or reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the website or violation of these conditions, including related legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute tied to use of the website must be brought in a court located within Texas. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs requests to public bodies, while Government Code Chapter 411 limits criminal-history dissemination; neither makes this private site an official custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised, and a posted revision becomes effective when it appears on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in force. The affected language will be adjusted only as far as necessary.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
